This led to a full-fledged project with Kaiser Permanente, opening doors to opportunities where he could apply his multidisciplinary skills to make significant contributions to healthcare.

Over the years, Khalid Turk sharpened his expertise in healthcare IT, leading transformative projects that modernized IT infrastructure and services. In 2013, His professional journey as an independent consultant brought him to Santa Clara County, where he eventually  assumed the role of Chief Information Officer for the County’s Health and Hospital System in 2020.
